0. USER TESTING (ALPHA)

You are accessing Satelles as part of its ALPHA testing phase. This means the service is still in development and may include incomplete features, errors, and service interruptions. By participating, you agree to:

• Use Satelles "as-is" with no guarantees of availability, accuracy, or reliability.
• Provide feedback that may be used to improve the service without compensation.
• Understand that features, pricing, and policies may change without notice.

Satelles, its creators, and partners are not liable for any damages, losses, or disruptions resulting from your use of this early version. If you do not agree to these testing terms, do not use Satelles at this stage.

1. Overview of Service

Satelles provides personalized astrological readings via SMS text messaging and web application based on astrological data and user inputs. These readings are generated in part by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational and entertainment purposes only.

2. Eligibility

To use Satelles, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

3. Subscription, Credits & Fees

• Satelles operates as a subscription-based and credit-based service.
• Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply.
• Subscriptions may automatically renew unless you cancel.
• You may unsubscribe anytime by replying STOP to a message or contacting us at support@satelles.me.

4. Payment Processing

All subscription payments are securely processed through Stripe, our third-party payment provider. By completing a payment with Satelles, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Privacy Policy and Payment Terms.

Stripe collects and processes your payment method details, name, billing address, and related data. This information is used for:

• Payment authorization and billing
• Fraud prevention
• Legal and compliance obligations

Satelles does not store or have access to your full payment details.

5. Use of Service

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when signing up.
• Not use the service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Not reverse-engineer, disrupt, or exploit the service or underlying technology.

6. Content Disclaimer

The information provided by Satelles is for entertainment and general guidance only. It is not professional advice and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or psychological decisions.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, relevance, or completeness of any reading.

7. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

Satelles uses third-party services for key functions like payment processing, secure hosting, text message delivery, and AI-powered reading generation. These providers may temporarily process or store user data to keep the service running smoothly. By using Satelles, you consent to this third-party involvement, including international data transfers under applicable privacy laws.

8. Hosting, Uptime, and SMS Delivery

Satelles is hosted on secure third-party infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service.

You acknowledge that:

• SMS delivery may be affected by mobile carrier or network issues.
• Service interruptions may occur due to outages or errors by our infrastructure providers.
• Satelles is not responsible for delays or disruptions outside of our control.

9. Data Privacy & Collection

We only collect the personal information needed to deliver your astrology insights and improve your experience. This includes:

• Your username or nickname
• Phone number (for SMS delivery)
• Place of birth (City, State, Country)
• Time of birth (ToB)
• Current location (City, State, Country)

This information helps us generate accurate and personalized astrological readings tailored to your unique birth chart and current location.

We do not collect email addresses, full legal names, or payment details directly. All payments are securely handled by Stripe (see Section 4).

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data may be processed by our trusted partners—including infrastructure providers, mobile carriers, and AI platforms—solely for the purpose of operating the service.

Your information is stored securely, and we use standard industry safeguards to protect your data. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@satelles.me.

By using Satelles, you consent to the collection and use of this information in accordance with these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content—including SMS messages, copy, branding, and AI-generated material—is the property of Satelles or our licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without express written permission.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time by replying STOP to any message or emailing us at support@satelles.me.

If you wish to permanently delete your account, you may do so via your User Profile in the Web Dashboard. This action is immediate and irreversible—your personal data will be deleted from our active systems right away. Should you wish to use Satelles again, you will need to create a new account.

Satelles reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or abuse of the service. Upon termination, you will no longer receive daily messages and any accrued obligations (e.g. outstanding payments) will remain in effect.

12. Assumption of Risk

You understand that certain portions of the Satelles Services rely on third parties—including hosting infrastructure, payment processors, mobile carriers, and AI platforms. These third parties are not controlled by Satelles. You agree that Satelles and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and contractors ("Licensed Parties") are not responsible for any loss, delay, harm, or disruption caused by any third-party service or failure.

You also acknowledge that all content provided by Satelles—including horoscopes, astrological readings, messages, and articles—is for informational and entertainment purposes only. The content is not professional advice and should not be relied upon for personal, professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions. It is not a substitute for consultation with licensed professionals in the relevant fields.

By using Satelles, you accept that any actions you take based on our content are at your own risk, and the Licensed Parties will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or consequences that result from such reliance.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SATELLES OR ANY OF THE LICENSED PARTIES BE LIABLE (JOINTLY OR SEVERALLY) FOR:

1. ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
2. DAMAGES RESULTING FROM INTERRUPTIONS, DATA LOSS, SYSTEM FAILURES, VIRUSES, TRANSMISSION ERRORS, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; OR
3. DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR MISUSE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT.

These limitations apply regardless of the form of action—whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal or equitable theory—even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If applicable law does not allow some or all of the above limitations to apply to you, then these limitations will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by SMS or email. Continued use of the service after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes must be resolved in a court located in or near that jurisdiction.
